This place is absolutely amazing! Every sandwich is perfection, every cannoli is a true delight. I can't recommend this place enough.

What a great place for lunch and amenities for home cooking ! The best sandwich ever. Fresh ingredients and delicious! Chef/ owner Brian and staff are professionals at customer service and they know how to make you feel at home. This place is super bright and impeccably clean. The fresh clean bright place to sit and enjoy while browsing the special selection of Italian goods. The cookies are as delicious as the fresh lunches. This definitely is a treat for a good lunch or take out dinner. It's a much try !

this place is fantastic! went here yesterday with a friend who was craving a meatball sub and let me tell you i am SO glad we stopped in. i got the chicken parm sub, and he ordered the meatball sub. we also got some cannolis. everything was DELICIOUS! the sandwiches are the perfect portion, and the cannolis are out of this world. will absolutely be coming back again

This place is amazing. The owner's daughter exclaimed "I made the pizza", as her brother shook his head in dismay of his sister's remark (always gotta love sibling rivalry), a pie was brought out and placed in the case and I had to try it while I was waiting for my deli (also their deli is the real stuff, I used to work for one and this is not your boars head crud). I had a slice, and let me tell you... I haven't had a pizza this good in Phoenix yet. Don't even try any other place, this is the closest in terms of taste as pizza I had in New York. It's been a long time so I may be miss remembering but I do know that there is no places like this here. If I could I would give em 6 stars. Grocery is good too.

I recently did a search for the best cannoli in phx and chose Nicolas to drop in and grab a Friday treat for the office staff. The store is clean and the selection of cheeses,meats and olives is amazing. It's a deli so you can order sandwiches or fresh baked breads. The mini canolis I brought back to the shop did not disappoint. Little bit of old world cheer on a dismal rainy Friday.

12/23/23: we spotted Niccoli's while eating in the area and finally came back to check them out. It's fairly small in the front, crowded with lots of goodies, and if I recall correctly, there were a couple small tables on the sidewalk. When we walked in, there was a woman there w/ one small child on her hip. then she proceeded to harass the young lately behind the counter because her food was taking too long. She was complaining because she saw the guy in the back do this and that instead of making her food -- then she played the pregnant & hungry card and the "my kid here is getting fussy, she needs her nap". My sister and I were thinking "then leave the kid at home next time!", as well as "do you want freshly made food? then stop complaining!" :-) The counter gal kept apologizing and handled the Karen very well. We were both impressed w/ her and she was very friendly with us, laughing off the Karen situation as we complimented her on her handling skills. She did explain there would be a wait on the food, which gave us time to explore the racks and make other purchases. The calzone was freaking huge! The meatball sub was good, although I think some additional condiments would have been a nice touch. The bread / dough, though, was pliable and just the right texture -- even a couple days later. We have every intention of re-visiting Niccoli's, next time for their pizza.

I'm absolutely in love with this sweet Italian mom & pop shop! Imports from Italy include meats, cheeses, sauces and probably more! It's hard to come here and not order the whole menu or take home a whole shopping cart of ingredients or sweets! The go to is easy - The Italian Combo Sub! The bread is so fresh and it's the perfectly sliced and portioned sun of meats, veggies and condiments. I've had it picked up for lunch and fresh - both are exceptional. My biggest pet peeve with subs is sogginess - nothing to worry about here if you can't dine in. They also serve Pizza which is also, guess, so good! It tastes lite and fresh... and like I can eat a whole one by myself and still feel perfectly okay. The owner is so grateful and kind. I waited my whole pregnancy for an Italian sub and wanted to come here! He was very appreciative and just speaks to the hospitality of this location. Please try and support this amazing spot! One of my PHX favorites!!!
